New organisation structure SLB GROUP

As of 1 January 2017, the SLB GROUP introduces a new organisational structure. The three subsidiaries - RVS NON FERRO, RIJKERS and SLB HIGHTECH - will form independent business units starting in the new year. A shared production unit provides the production, assembly, mounting and commissioning of projects. With the new structure we accommodate our growth ambitions: doubling turnover and results in the period up to 2020.

SLB GROUP realises controversial and complex projects, in particular in the food processing and pharmaceutical industry. To allow for even better responses to the scope of these projects, RVS NON FERRO, RIJKERS and SLB HIGHTECH will operate as independent business units from 1 January.

Focus on key competencies
This change in structure causes our three subsidiaries to focus even more on the specific key competencies. RVS NON FERRO focuses on the construction of entire machines, specifically for OEM companies in the food processing industry. RIJKERS focuses on design, construction and maintenance of installations for manufacturers in food, dairy and minor chemical industry. The third business unit - SLB HIGHTECH - processes high grade metals into customised products for critical industries. Finally, the shared production unit provides the production, assembly, mounting and commissioning.

Implementation of new ERP system
As a major part of optimal coordination between the business units, we will start using a new ERP system from 1 January. This means a step forward in digitising our organisation; more efficiency, less chance of errors and shorter processing times. In addition, this allows our customers to better connect to our automated processes, which offers more insight into the status and progress of the projects. And a direct link with our suppliers strengthens the information chain.

What does this mean for you?
The new organisational structure means that some of our customers will be formally transferred from RVS NON FERRO to RIJKERS or vice versa. Of course we will contact you personally in case this applies to your company. And due to the implementation of our Isah ERP system, as of 1 January there will be some changes in the order and purchase numbers as well as the layout of, among other things, the offers and invoices you receive from us.
